On the Full Moon of Shravan month, this August 15th-- the auspicious Raksha Bandhan, or Rakhi’ as is popularly called’ was celebrated with much gaiety by all students across the school. Transcending the ritual of tying this ‘Protection Band’ by sisters in the wrist of their brothers, all across the school tied this auspicious thread decorated with many designs- hand made or purchased, to their loved ones. The little ones were seen celebrating it with much more gusto than even the seniors, reaching out to all and tying beautifully made Rakhis on their wrists. Irrespective of the religious connotation, the bond it created or strengthened among all was surely heart-warming.
